Product Description

The French road regulations require industrial, intervention and service vehicles to use a folding luminous triangle equipped with 3 signal lights retro-reflective as a pre-signaling object. This signaling device is used to warn other users of an intervention. 


 
The triflash consists of an AK5 panel and 3 synchronized R2 type beacon lights. This symbol has been used since 1952 in France to signal a work zone. The purpose of this pre-signaling device is to ensure the safety of both the workers and the drivers passing through the work zone.
 
Why use a AK5 triangle?
 
Regulations articles 122C and 131C pertaining to road signs impose various measures on all mobile equipment operating on roads open to traffic, including the requirement to display signs. The use of luminous tri-flashes enables compliance with this ministerial instruction. It is mandatory for all professional vehicles to affix this sign. Failure to comply with these regulations may result in heavy penalties or fines.
