What is different between reflective and non-reflective roll up traffic sign?

< Back
Roll-up traffic signs have become essential for road safety and are an effective medium for traffic control. The choice of signage materials can significantly impact the sign's visibility, durability, and overall performance. This is where the reflective and non-reflective roll-up traffic signs come into play.

Reflective roll-up traffic signs are designed to reflect light and provide clear visibility, even in low light or dark conditions. The use of reflective technology ensures that the signs can be seen from a distance, giving drivers enough time to react to the information they convey. This is achieved by using a special layer of reflective film that reflects light back to the source and enhances the contrast of the sign. These signs are particularly useful during night time or in areas with poor lighting.

On the other hand, non-reflective roll-up traffic signs do not have the reflective layer and are not designed to reflect light. These signs are commonly used during daylight hours in well-lit areas. Unlike reflective signs, they do not provide sufficient visibility during low-light situations, making them unsuitable for use in areas with poor lighting.
